Quota indicator missing: SOLUTION

I've also had the issue where the quota indicator was missing in the 8.0.1 client. I tried the suggestions posted in this forum but couldn't find a solution.

When I replaced my mailfile with the local template, the quota indicator was there, when replaced with the server mail8.ntf, it was gone.

I checked the templates in Domino Designer and noticed that two NotesMailApps.xml existed in Composite Applications - Applications. I deleted the oldest one, then refreshed my design and the quota indicator was back.

I haven't done 8.0.1 installs from scratch, only upgrades so I'm not sure if it's related to the template or it has something to do with 8.0 to 8.0.1 upgrades.
